Next to our broad knowledge of process optimisation principles like Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 6 Sigma and OEE we have gathered years of experience in almost all processes related to assembly of wire harnesses, connectors and electrical systems.

Connector assembly
Assembling connectors is since the beginning of Dutron one of our core competences. We can rely on decades of experience in manual, semi-automatic and fully automated assembly, inspection and packaging of connectors for the largest companies in electronics and (tele)communications industry.

Wire harness assembly
The process of assembling a wire harness can consist of a lot of specific steps, each with its own high requirements. Dutron is specialised in all common known processes: Cable cutting and stripping, Shrinksleeve heating, soldering, cable-twisting, splicing, moulding, ultrasonic welding, tube-placement and of course all different kinds of contact-application.

Technical assembly
Next to electronic components, we also provide assembly of a wide range of technical products. Specially manual and semi-automated assembly of moulded plastic components is a market where Dutron has proven to be of large added value to our customers. We can take over existing (semi-)manual productions, but also can provide tooling-development and production of new products that need fast introduction into the market. 

Test on short-circuit, continuity, correct assembly, Leakage, strength
All products assembled at Dutron are tested at the high level required by the customer. We assure our high quality level with dedicated test-equipment, which is calibrated by certified calibration-institutes. Our crimp-applicators are equipped with electronic Crimp-Quality-Monitoring systems, which guarantee the best possible crimp at all times. For electrical tests we have the knowledge and capability for in-house development of a custom-fit test board to your product.

Packaging
Packaging of the products is done with the exact same high level of attention that the products deserve. We deliver products packaged ready to be shipped to your end-customer, based on customer’s specifications. We work with a wide range of customer-specific packaging, like normal carton-boxes, but also crate-systems with integrated RFID tracking belong to the possibilities. If required, we can also take care of correct packaging materials from local suppliers.
